The Master Plan

Ad in Heritage Magazine

This ad was recently found in Vietnam Airlines’ Heritage in-flight magazine.

Advertising often being a reflection of its time and culture, I found it very interesting to see an immigration consultant address the aspirations of certain Vietnamese young females so directly. And perhaps shamelessly.

It doesn’t take a lot of imagination to connect their four lines of service in chronological order:

  1. Marry a foreigner
  2. Get as much money as you can from him
  3. Divorce
  4. Enjoy money

Our big-boobed friend over here (I’m sure you noticed the photoshopped shadow) is proudly showing the US passport she paid for with her hard-bounced pussy, as if making her fellow countrywomen get wet in envy.

I guess there’s not much more to say about this. It’s pretty self-explanatory.

I’m not sure this is a good media placement since Heritage caters to an older (72% aged 35+), predominantly male (67%) and half international (47%) audience according to this media kit. Perhaps the advertiser was just as careless with the placement as with the content of its ad.
